The fastest way to lose trust in AI is to let it send something to a customer that a person would never have sent. So every Staffhand build runs in approval mode.
What approval mode means
Agents draft. A person approves. Nothing customer-facing goes out until someone on your team has looked at it. The drafts land in one queue, so approving them takes minutes rather than hunting through five different tools.
The questions that never go to the AI
Some questions should never be answered by an agent, even in draft. In every build, these four are always handed to a person:
- Price
- Trade value
- Credit
- Financing
A customer who asks what their trade-in is worth gets a person, not an estimate from a model. The agent’s job in that moment is to notice the question and route it, not to answer it.
Why this is not a limitation
Most of what slows a business down is not the hard conversations. It is the hundred small ones: confirming a time, following up after a visit, asking for a review, replying to a web lead at 11pm. Approval mode lets the agents take those off your desk while the conversations that need judgment stay with people who have it.
