Four questions to ask any AI vendor before you sign

There are a lot of companies offering to put AI into your business right now. The pitches sound similar. The answers to these four questions usually do not.

1. Who approves what goes to my customers?

If the answer is “the AI,” ask what happens when it gets something wrong in front of a customer. Our answer: a person on your team approves every customer-facing message, and price, trade value, credit and financing questions never go to the AI at all.

2. Who owns the accounts and the data?

Some vendors build everything inside their own platform. That works until you want to leave. Our answer: everything is set up in your accounts, in your name. The data and the setup stay with you.

3. How do you get paid if this does not help?

A flat subscription is paid whether or not anything improves. Our answer: a fixed build fee for the agreed scope, and where it fits, a share of revenue above a baseline set from your own history, with a monthly cap. Tool costs pass through at what they cost us.

4. What happens to the setup if I leave?

Ask whether the agents, the connections and the history survive the end of the contract. Our answer: they do, because they were never ours.

Ask these of us on a first call. Start with an audit.

The digital audit scores your website, search, reviews, social and lead handling, then shows which desks would pay for themselves first. No commitment.
